The collaboration between the Office de la Circulation et de la Navigation (OCN) of the State of Fribourg and Infoteam Digital began in 2010 with the redesign of the internal website and the realization of an application for smartphone. Since then, the OCN has continued to develop cutting-edge tools. The last one realized with Infoteam is the OCN quality manual, which has been put online on an ISO extranet portal. The quality manual can now be updated continuously, with an automated process developed on SharePoint. OCN has gained in efficiency and traceability and is very satisfied with the performance of its new digital tool.

Translation of needs into solutions

"Any quality manual worthy of the name is constantly evolving," says Marc Rossier, director of the OCN. "It is subject to revisions, driven by legal changes, external and internal audits... The process descriptions must therefore be constantly adapted. "The scope of the manual is broad. It applies to management, planning, controlling, improvements, audits, business processes (technical inspections, examinations, traffic approvals, navigation, etc.) and administrative processes.

"The basis of our work was to analyse the OCN workflows in detail and translate them into Microsoft SharePoint," explains Fredy Martuccio from Infoteam. "Several workshops were organized so that we could understand and describe exactly the needs of the OCN. We then drew up specifications and showed agility in development. This is essential to be able to translate a complex workflow into an IT tool."

Infoteam offers a very competitive price-performance ratio. But more importantly for us, its staff are really attentive to our needs. "says Marc Rossier.
